"Make Money From Events"

I speak about how to make money from events, whether you're attending them, speaking at them, sponsoring them or hosting your own.

I've attended events and made thousands, created events and lost thousands, and hosted events that have helped me build a multi-six-figure business, so I don't come at this from theory or neat little "here are my three tips" energy. I come at it from actually being in the rooms, selling the tickets, raising the sponsorship, hosting the stages, dealing with the chaos, reading the audience, watching what works, spotting what doesn't, and seeing where people miss massive opportunities because they don't know how to use events properly.

That's really my whole thing.

There is so much money, visibility and opportunity inside events, but most people don't squeeze even half of what's possible from them. They show up, chat to the people they already know, maybe post a selfie, have a lovely lunch, then go home and wonder why nothing came from it. I help people think differently about what events can do for their business, without making it weird, forced or overly polished.

I bring energy, audience engagement, real examples, humour, honesty and proper useful value. I want people leaving with something they can actually use.

Make Money
From Events.

That's it. That's the message.

Not because every event should be a giant sales pitch, but because events are one of the best ways to build relationships, reputation, trust, visibility and actual business opportunities when you understand how to use them.

You can make money from attending events.
You can make money from speaking at events.
You can make money from sponsoring events.
You can make money from hosting events.

I've done all of it, and I talk about the real bits people need to understand if they want events to become part of their growth, not just something they stick in the diary and hope for the best.

I host my own stages, so I understand what it means to be handed a microphone at someone else's event. I know the host has put their time, money, reputation and nervous system into getting people in that room, so I take that seriously, even if I don't take myself too seriously.

I read the room, I respect timings, I keep the energy up, and I care about the audience actually getting something useful from the session. I love audience engagement, so my talks are never just me standing there broadcasting at people while they politely wait for lunch. I like the room to feel alive. I want people thinking, laughing, talking, joining in, having those little "oh bloody hell, I do that" moments and leaving with something they can act on straight away.

I bring real talk, not business waffle. I'm warm, direct, funny, practical and very honest about what events can do for your business, including the bits that don't get squeezed into glossy Instagram carousels.

And because I love events, I'm not someone who turns up for my talk and then disappears through the back door like I've got a private helicopter waiting in the car park. I like being in the room properly. I like chatting to people, supporting the event, cheering on other speakers and being part of the day, especially when my community are there too.

Events are about connection, and I genuinely believe speakers should add to that, not float in and out like a keynote ghost.

I read the room
I respect timings
I keep the energy up
I care about the audience
I bring real talk
Events are about connection

About Me.

I'm Nicola Peake, founder of Peake Event Group, creator of PeakeFest and a woman who has hosted more than 70 events.

I work with business owners, speakers, sponsors and event hosts to help them make events more strategic, more profitable and more valuable. My work sits across event strategy, sales, sponsorship, visibility, relationship building, community and the real commercial thinking behind creating rooms people actually want to be in.

I love attending events as much as I love hosting them. I am, proudly, an event whore. Give me a good room, good people, good conversations, decent food and a red wine at the end of it and I'm happy. My besties call me Red Wine Nic, which feels fair and legally accurate.

I'm not for every audience because I may drop the occasional F-bomb and I'd rather be useful than perfectly polished, but for the right room I bring energy, humour, experience and a proper understanding of how events work from every angle.

Make Money From Events

This is my main talk and it can be shaped around your audience, whether they are business owners, speakers, sponsors, event hosts, networkers, community leaders or people who know they need to be in more rooms but want those rooms to actually lead somewhere.

It's fun, practical, honest and full of real stories from attending events, sponsoring events, speaking at events, hosting PeakeFest, running my own stages, building communities, selling tickets, raising sponsorship and turning rooms into revenue.

The audience will leave seeing events differently. Not as a random nice day out, but as one of the most powerful ways to build visibility, relationships, trust and money in your business.

Want Me To Speak At Your Event?

I'm available for business events, conferences, retreats, mastermind days, networking events, community events, speaker days and events where the audience wants value, energy and someone who knows how to hold a room.

My speaking fee depends on the event, audience, location and what you'd like me to deliver. Budgets can be discussed up to £5,000.

I'm happy to discuss speaking for free when the event is aligned, the room makes sense, and the opportunity is genuinely worth it.

If the budget is red wine and good food, I'll want to know what wine and what food, but travel and accommodation still need to be covered for in-person events.
